INSTALLATION OF MSTE PLANTS AT KAILASHTILLA GAS FIELD AND BEANIBAZAR GAS FIELD

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Kailashtilla Gas field is located in Sylhet district some 300km from Dhaka. At present about 41MMSCFD gas and 800 barrels of Condensate/NGL are being produced from this field. The objective was to increase the gas processing capability with a view to augmenting condensate/NGNGL recovery from the gas stream. Sylhet Gas Field Ltd intended to conduct a conceptual design for a 2nd MSTE type Plant to be located adjacent to and existing MSTE plant at Kailashtilla and another MSTE plant at the Beanibazar Gas Field situated some 35 km away from Kailashtilla. Each plant would have a processing capacity of 45MMSCF gas per day and the work would examine if an existing Silica Gel Plant having a capacity of 60 MMSCF per day could be utilized.

SCOPE OF WORK

Agmor Consortium and Pegasus International were awarded Conceptual Engineering and PMC of the MSTE Plant Installations at the Kailashtilla Gas Field and a 2nd one at the Beanibazar Gas Field. The scope of work comprised of Field Survey of Process Plant including Soils Investigation. Preparation of Concept Design of 2nd MSTE Plant at Kailashtilla and another at Beanibazar, including Sales Pipeline and Ancillary Facilities such as Scraper Trap and Metering Station. In addition to Hazards Evaluation and Environmental Impact Assessment the work included Mitigation Measures and Safety Procedures in Plant Design.
